1 Peter 3:1 “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;”

Raised a Roman Catholic, I walked away from religion in my early twenties. Satan had a strong grip on me through college and young adulthood. After marrying and having children, I returned to church but still had no real relationship with Our Savior. Unbeknownst to me, my wife became a Christian and had been praying for me for seven years. This “quiet conversation” brought me to the point of visiting a Bible believing/teaching church at the ripe old age of 53! The church was Calvary Chapel of Delta.

I haven’t looked back! I was immediately smitten by the Holy Spirit and could think of nothing else but returning to each subsequent Bible study to hear more of His Word.

Jamie:
En route to the aquarium with a bus load of second graders, I turned to the teacher, Kim, and asked her if she knew of any Bible studies. As I spoke the words, I turned around looking to see who had delivered the sentence….it was me! Within several weeks, another teacher asked Kim the same question…shortly thereafter we were meeting and being led to the Lord. Nearly 15 years later, the group has seen some changed faces and locations, but we are still meeting and growing in His name. Circumstances drove me into His arms, and most of those circumstances have changed since I gave my life to Jesus!
