DUE TO THE COVID-19 SITUATION, THERE ARE NO ONSITE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY CLASSES CURRENTLY. CHECK OUT OUR VIRTUAL SUNDAY SCHOOL HERE:
Nursery, Toddler Room, 2-3 Year-Old Class:
Babies, toddlers (stable walkers up to 2 years of age), and 2 & 3 year-olds may be dropped off 15 minutes prior to the start of the service on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings. There is also a nursing mothers’ room available that allows moms to view and hear the service while tending to their babies.
While parents are studying the Bible, verse by verse, the children are studying the same portion of Scripture (usually one week behind) in an age-appropriate setting. This encourages family discussions of Scripture. Sunday morning and Wednesday evening classes are available for children through age 12. On Wednesday evenings, we have family worship in the sanctuary before children are dismissed to their classes. On Sunday mornings, children have their own time of worship in the classroom, and may be dropped off up to 15 minutes before the start of the service. During our Sunday evening prayer meeting, we provide childcare for children through age 5; they may be dropped off up to 10 minutes before the service begins. Children 6 and older are invited to participate with their families in the main assembly.

There are many resources available online to help you prepare your lessons for the children. Below are some that are particularly useful:
Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa Children’s Ministry – Access to our primary curriculum with teacher’s guide, supporting materials (word searches, coloring pages, crossword puzzles, etc.) and devotional take-home pages. The site also has additional resources, such as games, crafts, pre-school activities, and more.
Kids Sunday School Place – This website is useful for those chapters that aren’t covered by the Calvary curriculum. As you develop a main point from the verses, you can find helpful aids in their Topical Index. Note: CC Delta has an account with them. You can access some content without logging in, but for full access, please contact your Team Leader for log-in information.
